Final Flow/Outline & Tasking

I. Introduction on Climate Change
(recent set up or present condition & effects of climate change from the rough draft)

II. Physics on Climate Change

A. Radiation & Climate (refer to Radiation Law 1-3 from Physics of Climate
Change)

1.The Earth’s climate, at both global and regional scales, is the result of
dynamic balances (equilibrium) in the flows of energy (heat), when averaged
over sufficiently large time and space scales
2.The only energy exchange mechanism between the Earth and space is via
thermal (electromagnetic) radiation

B. The Green House Effect (refer to Radiation Law 4, pg 15 & 17)& physics &
climate change

C. Feedback Mechanism (terminology---- Albido Feedback)
Planetary heat transport
deconto_tectonics & climate
volcanism, sea floor spreading & high sea level

D. Climate Forcing (Human Cause & refer to page)

B. Other Gasses
C. History Trending of the Earth’s Atmosphere

Grp work related (grp 3)

Posted by Prof for our Course Assignment 2

Rationale

Now that you've learned about some of the most basic principles of physics and chemistry, it is time to look at their applications. This will allow you to appreciate even more how the understanding of these concepts have contributed to the great strides that mankind has these past few centuries.

Procedure

1. I have taken the liberty to form 12 groups that will work on just as many topics. I have likewise chosen the topic for each group and the leader.
2. The group will create either a video or a powerpoint presentation about the assigned topic. The choice of which one, video or powerpoint, belongs to the group. Think also of a good title for your project.
3. You are free to use as many resources as you can, mine the web if you wish, as long these are all properly acknowledged in your presentation.
4. Upload the video/powerpoint to our course site no later than 10 October 2010.

Assessment Criteria
Content/message (originality and creativity in delivering the content/message) - 60%
Technical quality (shot composition, balance, use of animation/sound effects, etc.) - 40%

Welcome !!!

Upon trying to browse the net, most of the discussions focus from Air Pollution to Climate change,  Global warming,  human made interference, etc…
Guys, we need a flow to follow…as of now feel free to enter sub topic and ideas regarding Climate change… Hope to have a productive & coordinated project…    - Mayang
